12 Unforgettable Moments: Highlights of 2009
It was a big task to pick out our favorite pictures of each month in 2009, because of our busy year touring and meeting new people. We got to visit some amazing places and we're so grateful for that. Check out these highlights of our year, month by month!
January: We did some fun radio interviews as our single "More Than I Think I Am" Hit Number One! February: Leading Worship at Waipuna Chapel in Maui, Hawaii. They gave us beautiful leis to wear. March: Going to Manhattan to record an interview with XM/Sirius Satellite Radio. What were we thinking going on St. Patrick's Day?! April: Having lunch with Ginny Owens in Nashville. I’m a fan of hers. May: Playing at Spirit West Coast with Needtobreathe. Brothers doing music. Us sisters doing music. Fun times! June: Opening for Third Day in London. They are all around nice guys. :) July: Creation Festival at the beautiful Gorge Amphitheater in Washington! August: Recording a Christmas EP in our home town! Celebrating Christmas in the summer was a unique experience. September: Leading Worship for You & Your Girl Conference on Elissa’s birthday. Our cousin joined us on keyboards for a worship song. Three Leander girls on the stage! October: Enduring the heat in El Salvador to visit our Compassion sponsor child. It was way worth it! I’d do it again. November: Leading worship for “Face The Son” Mother/Daughter retreat in McCook, NE. Made new friends, and they made us a quilt! December: Touring with Sara Groves in the Northeast on the 'O Holy Night' Christmas Tour!
